My Book Is My Camera

The handmade book/camera, is a container for thoughts and light, that turns them into words and images. The same area from every written page is cut out each time and replaced by film to take one photograph. The more I shoot the deeper the chamber gets, which brings a gradual change in the perspective.

After using the whole book, I would print the photos back into the book, filling up the chamber. Personal ideas and prints would overlay, cross-reference, experiments and developments are recorded.
