Part 4. Operation in the Field
These devices are ultimately united through a choreographed performance which lasts for 9 hours, where all of the photographic apparatus and installations are set up inside a constructed set. The different apparatus are operated by two technicians, where each of these devices are performing their specific functions, interacting and creating images that document the performance in its own way.
A video of the performance would then be recorded. Along with the markings, guidelines and traces in the set, the video ultimately gives hints to viewers, and becomes a guide for reading into the relationship between the devices and installations, as well as understanding the images produced by the respective camera.
